ICAR-KVKThrissur initiated the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence from 13th August 2022 to 15th August 2022. On 15th August, KVK Thrissur did ‘Rashtriya Salute’ to the hoisted national flag. The scientists, staff members and labourers of KVK Thrissur, i.e., around 35 members, participated in the event. Dr. Aneena ER, SMS (Community Science), KVK, Thrissur, delivered the Independence Day speech for the entire KVK fraternity. In her speech, she highlighted the nation's achievement, importance of agriculture in nations development and also payed tribute to the leaders of the Indian Independence movement. The KVK staff sang National Anthem and distributed sweets.
