ICAR- KVK Thrissur International Women's Day Celebration 2022 - dtd 08.03.2022
Women's Day was celebrated at the Mahila Mandir in Ramavarmapuram, Thrissur under the auspices of the Women and Child Welfare Department under the leadership of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Thrissur. 100 Grow Bags were handed over by KVK to launch the Nutri Garden project to guide the inmates of the Mahila Mandir to farming and thereby to a healthier diet. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Suma Nair, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Thrissur and inaugurated by Lali James, Chairperson, Thrissur Corporation Standing Committee, who distributed vegetable seedlings to the inmates. KVK Scientists Dr. Aneena E.R, Dr. Deepa James and Dr. Aparna Radhakrishnan addressed the gathering. Municipal Councilors Smt. Sindhu Anto, Smt. Ancy Jacob and Smt. Nimmi Rapai were also present during the occasion. The cultural programmes by the inmates and the poster display made the event even more special. Mahila Mandir Superintendent Smt. Usha, delivered the vote of thanks at the end of the programme. മഹിളാ മന്ദിരത്തിലെ അന്തേവാസികൾക്ക് കൈത്താങ്ങായി കെ വി കെ തൃശ്ശൂർ വനിതാ ശിശക്ഷേമ വകുപ്പിന് കീഴിൽ തൃശൂർ രാമവർമപുരത്ത് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന മഹിളാ മന്ദിരത്തിൽ തൃശൂർ കൃഷി വിജ്ഞാന കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ മഹിളാദിനം ആചരിച്ചു. മഹിളാ മന്ദിരത്തിലെ അന്തേവാസികളെ കൃഷിയിലേക്കും അതുവഴി ആരോഗ്യകരമായ ഭക്ഷണരീതിയിലേക്കും നയിക്കുന്നതിനായുള്ള ന്യൂട്രി ഗാർഡൻ പദ്ധതി ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിലേക്കായി 100 ഗ്രോ ബാഗുകൾ കെ വി കെ യിൽ നിന്നും കൈമാറി. കൃഷി വിജ്ഞാന കേന്ദ്രം മേധാവി ഡോ. സുമ നായരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടന്ന യോഗത്തിന്‍റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം തൃശൂർ കോർപ്പറേഷൻ സ്റ്റാൻഡിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർപേഴ്സൺ ലാലി ജെയിംസ്, അന്തേവാസികൾക്ക് പച്ചക്കറി തൈകൾ നൽകി നിർവഹിച്ചു. ഡോ. അനീന ഇ.ആർ, ഡോ. ദീപ ജയിംസ്, ഡോ. അപർണ രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ( അസിസ്റ്റന്‍റ് പ്രൊഫസർ, കെ.വി കെ തൃശ്ശൂർ)എന്നിവർ ആശംസ അർപ്പിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു.മുനിസിപ്പൽ കൗൺസിലർമാരായ സിന്ധു ആന്‍റോ, ആൻസി ജേക്കബ്, നിമ്മി റപ്പായി എന്നിവർ ചടങ്ങിൽ സംബന്ധിച്ചു. മഹിളാ മന്ദിരം സൂപ്രണ്ട് ഉഷയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ അന്തേവാസികൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച കലാപരിപാടികളും പോസ്റ്റർ പ്രദർശനവും പരിപാടിയെ കൂടുതൽ മികവുറ്റതാക്കി.
