As part of the “Uttam Kheti Unnat krishi” programme a training on “Eco-friendly Pest Management in Banana cultivation” was organised by the institution on National Farmer’s Day (23rd December 2021). Dr.Gavas Ragesh, Assistant Professor, Banana Research Station, Kannara, Kerala Agricultural University was the resource person. Around 30 farmers participated in the event.

23rd December 2021 inviting Banana farmers to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Thrissur, experience sharing by farmers on effective banana waste utilization, awareness on field sanitation and composting, lecture by Dr. Gavas Ragesh, Assistant Professor, Banana Research Station, Kannara, Kerala Agricultural University on Banana Cultivation and related aspects.
