The programme was inaugurated by Shri. K. Radhakrishnan, Honorable Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes, Devaswoms, Parliamentary Affairs of Government of Kerala. Dr. Jayasree Krishnankutty, Director of Extension, Kerala Agricultural University, welcomed the gathering in a function presided by Shri P.K Muraleedharan, President, Pazhayanur Grama panchayath. The keynote address for the function was given by Dr. A Sakeer Husain, Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University. Cluster FLD on Pulses, an upcoming programme of KVK Thrissur at Neelichira, was inaugurated by Shri KM Ashraf, President Pazhayanur Block panchayath on the occasion. The details about the programme conducted so far and planned for the padashekharam were explained by Dr. Suma Nair, Programme Coordinator KVK Thrissur. Eighty farmers and twenty-five officials, including those from line departments, participated in the event.
